The car will have to remain at the Registered Importer for a short period of time, once they get the go ahead from the US DOT the car can then continue on its way to the new owner. This is not a long process, every Canadian vehicle must go through these procedures in order to transform the vehicle’s title into a U.S. title.As many Canadian model vehicles are almost identical to US Versions, we won’t be having problems importing the vehicle into the U.S. especially considering the fact that I recently changed the cluster so that the speedometer and odometer show miles.
