Description Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for sale is my 1998 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) 4.0L Auto 4x4. Over the last year I have carefully restored and modified this Cherokee into the beast it is today. I never thought I would sell this XJ as it's my ideal Jeep. Unfortunately, the perfect storm of life's circumstances forces me to sell it. This Jeep is basically a brand new build with only one trip to Sedona, AZ to test and verify the quality and functionality of the entire build. I have invested over $11,000 in parts and labor on this build with receipts! Both axles were recently fully rebuilt with all new parts down to every last bearing, seal and fastener. This Cherokee is now trussed in the front (Artec) and features 4.88 Yukon gearing with locking differentials front and rear! All axle shafts have also been upgraded to new Yukon's. Both axles have a warranty that go with the vehicle. When building this Cherokee I tried to select only quality components. I spent over $1,100 on just the ARB roof rack alone. This XJ is an amazing specimen and was originally sold in Scottsdale, AZ. This Jeep has lived its entire life in Arizona. As you might guess, that means this XJ is 100% rust free. This was very important to me and one of the main factors why I chose this as my project vehicle. Don't be fooled by the mileage on the odometer either, this Jeep commuted from Payson to Phoenix, AZ daily for several years. Most all of the miles on this Jeep have been freeway with the cruise control set. Everything works great, no service or repairs are needed. Vehicle has no fluid leaks. 90% of the parts in this build are still basically new. This XJ four-wheels with the best of them! In a lot of ways, it feels like a brand new Cherokee!
