1956 DESOTO FIREFLITE 4DR/SDN This is a real survivor car that started life and spent most of it in Oklahoma. 330ci HEMI/4 barrel POWERFLITE PUSH BUTTON TRANS POWER STEERING POWER BRAKES RARE FACTORY AIR ( not presently working, blower worked and clutch pulled in, would have to have lines cleaned or replaced, pressure tested and converted to new Freon. WORK THAT HAS BEEN PERFORMED TO DATE: NEW DIFFERENTIAL PINION SEAL RADIATOR SENT OUT, CLEANED AND PRESSURE TESTED ALL NEW BRAKE LINES (steel and rubber lines) ALL NEW WHEEL CYLINDERS NEW DUAL RESEVOIR MASTER CYLINDER W/POWER BOOSTER NEW WATER PUMP FACTORY REMANUFACTUREED HOLLEY 600cfm CARB NEW IDLER ARM 4 NEW TIRES ALL NEW SHOCKS ALL NEW WIRING WITH 20 CIRCUIT FUSE BOX NEW WINDSHEILD NEW WINDSHEILD GASKET (STEELE RUBBER CO.) NEW MUFFLERS (THRUSH GLASS PAKS) NEW FRONT SWAY BAR BUSHINGS NEW REAR LEAF SPRINGS AND BUSHINGS ALL NEW HOSES AND BELTS NEW STARTER RELAY There are some extra pieces that go with the car. ( gauge panel and gauges, dashboard speaker grill, steering wheel horn ring and center cap, a 1955 imperial steering box, some extra taillight assemblies) I had a search done by Chrysler Heritage Association. It includes build sheet options and the date that the car was built. ( October 31,1955) Frame and floor boards in excellent condition, trunk floor is sketchy. Three rust thru spots on the body, one spot on right rear quarter panel. Spot is in an area that would not require a panel replacement just cut bad section and weld in a new piece.( area is about 2 inches wide by 8 inches long). The other two spots are in rocker panel that are about the size of a quarter, the rest of the rockers are in very good condition. The car is registered and on the road.
