1971 Toyota FJ 40 Land Cruiser. produced 12/1970. Original inline 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the column. Solid body, very little rust. Front mounted superwinch. I'm the 2nd owner and this cruiser has never been registered for highway use according to the NCDMV and the family of the original owner, it was purchased new to be used on their farm. Clean title in hand. The mileage is unknown as the odometer is not currently working, I assume its been unhooked as it reads 3/10's of a mile. This cruiser has had a recent tune up, new battery, new fuel pump, fuel sending unit, tank cleaned out, front wheel bearings repacked, rebuilt wheel cylinders, brake shoes, brake lines, master cylinder, all fluids changed, new tires and hubcaps. The 4 wheel drive works awesome! I have the dashpad in good condition.The bad; The paint is not that great, it leaks a little fluid out of the transmission where the driveshaft connects. The paint is bubbling at the bottom of the passenger door, and their has been some rust repair on the driver side floorboard, the windows roll up and down but needs attention, The emergency brake is not working and it has an exhaust leak.This cruiser runs and drives good and is also for sale locally.
