this car sits on a 1968 chassie, the body is a convertible 63. The deck lid and cowl pieces I manufactured and sell, they are made of fiber glass. It was built to show Hebmuller kit buyers how to installed it .No bondo was used, only rivets. This is a hot rod replica of a rare Hebmuller 1950 ENGINE: it runs very FAST and strong thanks to a 1835 cc aire cooled ($3000), great compression, small oil leak( very common on VW's. BRAKES four new wheel cylinders ,four hoses and shoes (brakes could used more adjustment , no E-brake) INTERIOR: wood military floors, new front door panels, speedo works but it is not connected , it needs a longer cable since the front end was extended 8 1/2 ". The car comes with a new top, ( bikini)it attaches to the front sun visor and uses two elastic tensors that are attached to rear cowl piece .A rolled bar like is used to secure top ( it is removable for a better looks and it uses two pins to hold it in place FLOOR PANS: Solid, min surface rust, small pin holes here and there. R rear floor it was patched years ago. BODY, has the usual dents and rust of a rat rod , only in the front lower wheel wells. it is not a perfect body but it has lots of character!! but THIS IN NOT.. REPEAT!!!!.....NOT A RUSTY BUCKET, solid floors...see pictures to evaluate and decide if this car is for you. TRANSMISION : it shifts smooth, doe not pop out of gears, no issues with reverse . it is very strong and reliable CONVERTIBLE TOP: yes it comes with a new bikini top TIRES AND RIMS: they have 95% tread 0n them, almost new!!unique wider rear rims TERMS OF PAYMENT : LOW RESERVE!! that means do your home work about transporting car to you state before biding on it.When you place a bid you could be the winner, if you are new on E Bay know that when you win it it does not mean you have the right to come kick the tires and decided that you do not want it!!
