1992 VW Corrado SLC 2nd owner 57,000 original miles Satin Silver 5 speed manual grey/blue dot cloth interior, heated seats, AC, Premium factory head unit with remote CD player. Original Heidelburg head unit included. Original window sticker, booklets, and tools w/factory spare tire. This is the second Corrado I've owned. I purchased a G60 new back in 1990, and had to try out VR6 version. Both are great cars to own. This SLC is a very nice, well taken care of example. Always garaged and never modified. Originally came out of Rockville, Illinois, and purchased new at Concours Motors in Wi.. I've owned the car approximately 3 years, and received it with only 42,000 miles from the original owner. Some of her records are also included. The rear wing functions like it should. Sunroof operates flawlessly. Auto choke seat belts were disconnected due to the nuisance that they are. I have all the fuses and relays saved in case you want to make them functional again. The driver's side operated perfectly, the passenger side would bind on occasion. I imagine if you lubricate the tracks, the issue would be resolved. All electronics function properly. Interior - Is in overall excellent condition with one minor scrape on the lower area of the driver's side door card. No rips or tears in any of the factory heated seats. Has the original Coco mats in grey. Dash and head liner are perfect. Exterior - Presents itself very well. Original owner had the passenger's side fender and door resprayed due to a large shopping cart scraping the front side of car. You can see the remaining scrape in the bumper cover. No indication of any body damage from that occurrence. Slight scuff marks on rear bumper cover. Couple of tiny door dings. Nothing of any consequence. Radio - The last Premium Radio in VW's inventory was installed. Adaptable to Ipod etc.. New German Match M5 door speakers. The original wiring harness was not tampered with. New wires were ran from back of the Premium unit using factory plugs and wire connectors. New oem antenna. New OEM remote CD changer with 4 new cartridges, and a new oem harness. Have another new spare CD harness that also goes with the car. The original Heidleburg AKTIV head unit is in like new condition, and also goes with the car. The original door panel speakers were ripped, but also included. Fuel system - NOS oem fuel pump; Pierburg. New gas filter & mounting bracket. New oem engine bay fuel lines. New pressure regulator. Fuel injectors sent to Witch Hunter for cleaning. Gas tank was clean when inspected. Original pump included. Ignition system - New oem ignition switch. New oem coil. New oem cap, wires and plugs. New throttle position switch. New oem cam sensor. Fairly new battery. New starter from VW. Engine - Intake manifold and valve cover were media blasted and hot tanked. New belts and belt tensioner. Transmission - New OEM fluid. Linkage adjusted by dealership. Exhaust - New oem egr. New purge valve. New vac lines, etc.. Cat and Exhaust are original to the car and are in good condition. Suspension - New Koni coil overs with lifetime warranty and needle bearing kits. NOS OEM BBS wheels & center caps. I replaced the tires when I first got the car and had them mounted on these new wheels. The tires will need replacement soon due to their soft compound. Recent wheel alignment and height adjustment. The front end components, motor mounts, and trans mounts are original to the car. I started to source some of the parts with the intent of replacing the originals at some point. They also go with the car. Brakes - New oem front calipers, rotors, hubs & bearings. New front brake lines. Rebuilt ABS pump. Rear brakes lines and brakes should be addressed at some point. Although the pads were changed at some point, the rest is still original. New ATE 200 brake fluid. Clutch was also bled. Coolant system - G12 coolant - Dealership flushed the engine and replaced the G11 with G12. New fan switch, new coolant switch, new ac switch, new temp switch, new coolant housing, new aux water pump, etc.. Also have a jug of oem G12 that goes with the car, along with a set of new standard rated sensors, thermostat and switch from VW. Car currently is running a slightly lower temp set up. AC - System was charged over 3 years ago and still blows cold air. Oil - Changed every 3,000 with Mobil 15w30. New oil cooler seals. Factory recall items were addressed by the dealership when the car was new. Give the vin to any VW Dealership to verify. Heater core restrictor was one of the items installed. There are no heater core issues. The other item was heat shielding for wires on the firewall. I saved all my receipts. There are quite a few parts that go with the sale, new and original. Factory repair manual (hard cover), spark plug tool, and few other items are also included. Not concours perfect, but a very nice original car that wasn't abused or modified. Draws a lot of attention where ever it goes, and displays itself well at car shows. I'm ready to pass her along to the next enthusiast due to a move. Inspections are welcome and encouraged. Have a current NJ title showing 42,263 miles with a date of issue 08-14-2012. The only item I can warranty on the car, are the Koni coil over shocks.
