The 114.023 250C was first produced starting in Sept. 1969 for the 1970 model year. The picture of the door jamb plate shows that this was the first one produced. I rebuilt both carbs and installed new plugs and wires. The cars runs well and is a dream to drive on the highway, but at low speeds it could benefit from a tune up and a carb sync from someone more experinced with this motor. The body and paint are not perfect as you can see from the pictures. There is rust in all 4 wheel wells and on the front bumper. The chrome trim in the back is dented, but I do have a replacement piece. There are some minor dents on the top of the front fenders also that don't show up in the pictures. The interior is in pretty good shape except for a tear in the back seat. The dash and steering wheel have several cracks. Also the wood trim on the dash needs refinished. The car does have air conditioning but it does not work. All the exterior lights work but most of the interior dash lights need new bulbs. The fuel guage works but needs a new sending unit in the tank. It only reads between half and full. The car is road worthy now and is a good candidate for restoration.
