ANYONE BIDDING MUST READ EVERYTHING BELOW AND ACKNOWLEDGE IN AN EMAIL TO ME BEFORE BIDDING ON THE CAR. YOU MUST STATE YOUR NAME AND THAT YOU'VE READ EVERYTHING IVE WROTE BELOW OR YOUR BID WILL BE RETRACTED.I HAVE PERFECT FEEDBACK & I AM BEING COMPLETELY HONEST WITH MY CAR I'M SELLING. First of all This is a project car!THIS CAR DOES NOT RUN!It's been sitting in a garage for the past 19 months. You are bidding on one 1964 Chevy Impala, if your looking for all original, keep looking. This car is far from original, it never will be considered as "All Original"car. There are a few issues keeping this car from driving down the road, but with the right person, it's really not that far away from driving down the road again. I've drove it from North Dakota to Phoenix, AZ & back twice, unfortunately I won't be able to drive it again. The car is currently in Denver, Colorado. I wish I didn't have to sell this car, but I don't have the time, money, or an affordable place to work on the car. THE POSITIVES ABOUT THE CAR I've poured a ridiculous amount of money into the car, far more than I'll ever get back, that much I'm positive of, I do have receipts for most of what I've purchased for the car during the time I've had it. It has a new wiring harness that cost me $600 to buy. (No receipt for the harness or the labor to install it)It has Brand new 1964 Chevy Impala Ciadella interior package (except the floor board) just like it had when it came off the assembly line in 1964. That cost me $1,704.88 (I HAVE THE RECEIPT)New interior parts & exterior parts listed below, brand new rear ashtrays, brand new disc brake conversion kit, brand new spark plug wires, brand new tie rod arms, brand new door locks, brand new master cylinder, brand new brake lines, new headliner trim pieces, new headlight rings, new rear speaker grille, new front grille emblem, new grille shell, new hood windsplit, new sunvisor support, new sunvisors, new trunk moulding windspilt, new horn ring button, new inside rearview mirror, new inside door handles, new window & vent door cranks front & rear, new door sill plates. Total receipts for all parts listed is $3,592.40 plus the LED tail lights, wire harness, labor wire harness installation, labor interior installation. THE CHALLENGES THE CAR & BUYER FACE The first issue preventing this 64 from driving down the road is the 327 engine. I never blew the engine, but it does need to be completely rebuilt or an entire new engine block. The front of engine block had a minor oil leak before I quit driving it. The future buyers choice 100% on what he/she would like to do with the engine. The engine is a newer one, I think it's from the mid 1980s, I'm not completely sure on that. I don't know from what kind of car it came out of or the exact year, all I know is it's not the original engine. I'm selling it as is, the buyer will take the car as is with absolutely no guarantees at all. He or she accepts all the responsibility of the car, right down to getting it out of the garage safely as well as loaded onto a flat bed truck or towing the car to a destination of your choice. The next issue is the brakes. I have the drum to disc conversion kit installed on the car already, except the brake lines and the master cylinder are NOT installed on the car. So it has absolutely no brakes at all, but it's not far away from the drum to disc conversion. I have both the brand new master cylinder & brakes lines in the box that come with the car. In order to install the master cylinder the old one will need to be cut out first. I don't have the tools for this or the money, that's why the job was never completed. So the car has front brakes 80% installed, but not completely. As far as rear brakes the car doesn't have any at all. Not even drum brakes were put on, I'm not sure why the previous owner thought that would be alright to get away with. Getting it out of the garage and loaded onto a flatbed will be a little tricky and will require help of more than one person. I cannot be that person because, it's located at my Dad's house in Colorado. I'm currently living out of state and will not be there when the car is picked up. I've signed over the clean car title to my Dad. With my OK, he will sign the title to whoever buys the car. Another issue is the trunk hinges and the mounting brackets on the body of the car are destroyed. So the trunk is just laying on top of the body right now. It's NOT mounted to the car itself. I do know a website that sells a cheap universal hinge that is a much cheaper & better looking hinge. That was my plan all along, that's why one of the mounting brackets is ruined completely. In the 60's they made big bulky hinges that look really ugly in my opinion. The new ones I don't have, but they sell for a hundred dollars on autoloc.com. The buyer would be responsible for installing the new hinges on the car. Or if you want the big bulky hinges, fabricate the destroyed mounting bracket, and install the entire thing yourself. It's the buyers decision. They sell the real hinges on impalaparts.com or impalas.com for triple the price than the small universal hinges on autoloc.com, you decide what you like after all, it will be your car. The rear LED tail lights are brand new, I bought them for $400 from impalas.com except one of them has a short in it. The person that installed them did a terrible job in my opinion because one of the wires wasn't saudered to the light good enough to keep the wire attached to light. Also, the key to the ignition works, the locks on the doors I don't have a key for & the trunk lock is missing. I have a brand new set for everything, but it's NOT installed on the car. The window crank on the passenger side window came off, it needs a new clip, easy fix. I also have extra material that Ciadella Interiors gave me in case of an emergency. Everything I've listed and everything in the pictures come with the car. I also have a Misc. trim pieces for the front seats, the front side windows that aren't brand new, but I do have them. They are just not installed. I couldn't find the brand new ones, I do however have the old ones. The paint job on the car in the pictures I've uploaded look amazing. I'm afraid to say that in multiple places the paint is either scratched or it's chipping completely. The trunk has scratches on it & the front passanger side fender has a fairly big size chip on it. I've uploaded a couple pictures to give the buyer an idea of what exactly it looks like. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to email me to express any concerns you may have. Once we establish some communication I have no problem giving anyone my phone number to discuss any further information you might be interested in. I will answer anything to the best of my knowledge.
