Bright Calypso Green Mustang LX Convertible 5-speed (rare) I believe this is 1 of 361 built in this color combination. Never broke down how many 5-speed cars were built. The StoryPrior to my purchasing this car, it was a summer car for a grandma whose husband maintained it (he was giving me tips on how to clean the top the day I picked it up). I sold my 66 Mustang Coupe to purchase this car. I daily drove her for 3 years prior to leaving for college. She's been a summer car ever since. I've now owed her for over 10 years. I moved to the city after college and have nowhere to keep her here. She is garaged in the suburbs, and I never have time to run out and drive her, thus, it's time for someone else to enjoy her. She's been such a great car. Odometer reads 114,9xx miles on it; however, it has even less than that as I switched to 3.73 gearing at around 90,000 miles and never got around to changing the speedo gear. These modifications were done several years ago, and the car has run with no problems. Notes-Convertible top and convertible top motor need to be replaced. -There are a few blemishes in the paint: small scratch and buffing mark on the driver's side door and a small dent in the deck lid. I do have a paint pen with the color from the factory, but I have not used it. Happy to throw it in. -A/C probably needs to be recharged. . . but it's a convertible. Who uses A/C?-Second gear is slightly slower to enter than the others. I might be getting picky here -Throwout bearing (clutch) makes noise - always has. Cheap part, simple fix, but has never bothered me enough to replace. Has not effected drivability. -Stock tach does not read accurately for some reason, but as listed below, I do have an extremely accurate aftermarket Autometer tach that i'll throw in, if you'd like. I'm a no BS guy, so I've tried to be picky, accurate, and upfront in my description. If you look up this addition with similar miles you'll see that they run around $7,000+. I've not added anything to my price for the thousands in modifications, I've only taken off for what I view as flaws. With that being said, I don't want to lessen the image of this car. 5.0s are often worn to the bone, and I hope the photos show how that is not the case with this gem. This car has been cared for.
