Located in Mississippi, this truck was purchased new by a local City public works, was used around the City since new in 1992, truck was replaced about two years ago and it sat idle not being used until we purchased it from them just a couple weeks ago. We purchased the truck and several more items from the City, purchased directly from the agency, not from a broker, dealer or auction, simply turning the truck into cash. After purchasing we transported back to our location, put a new battery in it, checked fluids, fired it up, drove about 20-30 miles total to make sure it wasn’t running hot or doing anything silly, then cleaned it for photographs for eBay listing. The truck cranks right up and drives, shifts out fine, air conditioning is not working, body/paint has scratches, dents, peeling/faded paint all around, truck has a little rust damage around but not bad, few spots in the floor under drivers feet, tires hold air and can be seen in the photos – front ones are pretty good, no warning or check engine type lights are on, the dash has wires hanging down all over where the City removed City radio, etc., the dash is missing quite a few parts/panels, would suggest a good servicing since it has been sitting for a couple years, other than that what you see is what you get. Please remember this is not a new truck, it is almost 25 years old, needs a little TLC, it runs, drives and stops, does not run hot or anything crazy like that, does need a good servicing, greasing, wiper blades, dash parts, perfect truck for a farm, local use or someone that needs a truck every now and then, if you plan to put on a job and run every day, all day, pass DOT inspections, etc. then you will without a doubt needs to spend a little time and money fixing up of find another truck!
