I have posted a photo of a copy of the original title from North Carolina. Vinyl Top was replaced before my friend purchased it in 2002. Interior in very good original condition. I will be posting a video of it running and driving tomorrow. Runs great, drives great. Really nothing more to say. No wrecks, no leaks, etc... There are a couple of very minor electrical items that need to be addressed. The heater core has been bypassed. Otherwise she is turn-key. get in, drive it wherever you like!!! Here is a list of the major items that have been replaced over the last 13 years:50,374 1-17-97 Replace Alternator, trace turn signal electrical shorts, replace turn signal switch and relay, repair wiring @ plug to turn signal switch. $615.1059,505 2-19-02 Replace voltage regulator and alternator. $276.9359,506 2-20-02 Repair all power windows. Tank was re-lined at some point previous and liner was coming loose clogging fuel filter. $285.00 BODY: Very good condition. See photos. No evidence of major repairs, wrecks, etc... Paint is original and is starting to show surface rust on the top panels and some around the corner areas on the body. An afternoon of polishing would eliminate the corner areas. Only spot of any other rust other than surface rust is passenger side rear fender in front of tire (see photo). About the size of a dime and actually not rusted through, just rusted deeper than surface. There is one other area along the corner of the trunk weatherstripping rail on passenger side (see photo) that has some small rust through (easy fix). Glass is in great condition. Bumpers are straight. Chrome trim in good condition...could stand a polishing, but not pitted. There is some rust under the vinyl top up near the front(see photos). CHASSIS: Floors and trunk are solid and rust free as well as entire underside of car. SEE PHOTOS. Car has original spare tire. Brakes working well, front rotors have some shimmy at high speeds when applying brakes but perform well. Suspension rides...well like a big Lincoln should. Cushy. No rattles, etc. Rear shocks could stand to be replaced. Tires Firestone FR721 235/75-15 have plenty of tread. Rear end is quiet. Some seeping observed from pinion seal. INTERIOR: Gorgeous original condition. One split in between rear seats, but armrest covers it up when down (see photo). Driver front armrest has a corner that has split and headliner has one bad spot about 4" around (see photos). Otherwise....the interior is a sight to behold. Original floor mats in great condition...but driver side is missing it's front floor mat. Original wool carpet in great shape. All the chrome is in good shape...no pitting, but could stand a polishing all around to make it gleam. Dash top has a couple of small cracks around the speaker cut-out. Rest of dash is in great shape. Seat belts are original and in good condition. ENGINE: Runs great. I took off the carburetor, disassembled and cleaned it while the gas tank was being re-lined. I also installed a serviceable fuel filter in front of the new fuel pump. I have the fuel pump guard along with the original heat riser setup (see photos). No smoking, leaking, etc. She has a little hesitation at initial throttle input when she is cold, but once warmed up it goes away. There looks to have been some seeping at some point as there is some road grime on the oil pan...but nothing wet...and no actual leaks. Radiator fluid is clean and has no signs of oil contamination. TRANSMISSION: Performs as it should. Some seeping observed over time...nothing out of the ordinary. ELECTRICAL: Brand new battery just installed. So these cars were notorious for electrical issues, as they were pretty ahead of their time back then. The power windows were rectified and brought to 100% (all motors replaced) at a cost of over $1700 back in 2002. The left front window switch has been replaced since then. Both front windows are working great. The passenger rear, works intermittently and the driver rear is not working. You can hear the voltage hitting the motors from the switches....I just think that over time, and from little use as compared with the front windows...the switches have oxidized a little. It wouldn't take much to get them working again.....as the whole system was gone through and rectified before. My buddy nor myself are electrical gifted people, so I'll leave this to the new owner. I'm thinking some lubricant, some cleaning and simply some use of the rear switches would get them working again. The heater core has been bypassed, but the heater fan/blower does work. The A/C works but could stand a recharge. One of the headlights is burnt out. The automatic headlight dimmer system works properly. Horn, turn signals and brake lights, interior lamps, gauge lamps, power antenna all working. The sending unit for the gas gauge has a fitting that needs to be soldered back into place for the gas gauge to work. It's easy to get to. The 6 Way Power Front Driver Seat is not working, but was working before. I think again, the switch just needs to be cleaned, as you can hear the voltage hitting the motor...just may not be enough traveling through the switch. The radio works but no sound is coming from speaker. I am a 100% positive feedback user/seller for over 13 years. I expect the same level of professionalism from interested parties. Feel free to ask questions. I may be interested in trades for PRE-WAR motorcycles and other old automobiles (Italian convertibles and Datsuns especially). OK, here are all the things I have to state because of the idiots of the world and the ebay scammers: IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 200 FEEDBACK, YOU MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING, IF NOT, YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELED, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION END AND CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 14 DAYS OF AUCTION END. A STORAGE FEE OF $25/DAY WILL BE ASSESSED EACH DAY THEREAFTER. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. I can be here to help load onto transport, etc.. Thanks and good luck. On Oct-22-15 at 17:57:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Video of car driving is up. I had to shorten it due to size.
