Vehicle Detail
This car was to be a project but it was never completed. We do not have time any longer to deal with it so we are going to give it up. The engine DOES run. We tested in recently by bypassing the fuel system and ran it off of a fuel can. The fuel system needs to be gone through. Car has been sitting for about 10 years in a warehouse. Here are the details of the vehicle: Carbureted SOLEX PHH Sidedrafts with BMW factory intake manifold. Low mileage on rebuild engine, less than 5,000. Schrick 292 cam. High compression 9.5:1 pistons. 4 speed manual transmission. Sport Springs and Bilstein shocks. Sport Sway bars. Recaro front seats from an E21 Racing Steering wheel. Thanks for looking, happy bidding. On Nov-01-15 at 11:02:48 PST, seller added the following information: I wanted to add some notes since I keep getting the same questions over and over. we have the glass (cracked windshield) and many parts for it. We have most parts and interior pieces. No one has time to actually inventory them but, as memory serves most are there. Since no one has time to sort through the parts we do have, I have not listed any of them in the ad. I do not claim to have all parts but, most. I also want to be clear you are bidding on what you can see in the pictures. I have no shots of the shocks towers but the rust on the vehicle is minimal and no evident rust on any structural components. I spoke to an employee who had looked at the car when it was out for pictures. He is one of the techs. He said the rust on the vehicle is completely minimal. At some point rust under the carpet on the drivers side but it was repaired. There is no rust on structural components like the mounts that he was able to find. Some sporadic rust would be common but nothing terrible. Yes, I have the title. Thank you for looking. Springs
