Up for sale is my 1990 Mercedes-Benz 500sl. The car is in excellent condition with only 64k miles. It has been garage kept. It runs and drives great. Super solid feeling, powerful and quiet. No leaks. Engine performs flawless, and transmission shifts smooth. It has brand new factory German soft top and all hydraulic power top cylinders have been rebuilt with updated seals. (automated power top and rollbar work perfect). Factory hardtop also included with stand. It also has new michelin pilot tires and the factory wheels are mint. Interior is in great shape. All the wood veneer, Carpets and door panels are mint. Leather seats in very good shape with very minor bolster wear. Power seats work perfect. All weatherstrip is great. A/C is cold, and all power options work great. The factory stereo head unit is code locked and may need to be replaced. Exterior is nearly mint. All paint is factory with the exception of the hood that was professionally painted due to typical stone chips. The paint is in great condition and shines great with no major defects. Car has never been in an accident. The only barely noticeable flaw in the bodywork is small approx. 2'' surface rust spot where the bottom of the licence plate rubbed against the paint. (see pics). All manuals and books and some service records included. This car is a super solid unmolested example of the iconic SL. The Car was $84k new! Selling at a low reserve to move on to something new.
