Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This is a one-of-a-kind 1986 Jeep CJ7 with only 39,300 original miles and a clean carfax. It has had four previous owners (POs) and spent most of it's life in Georgia so there is no frame rust. It has the original 4.2L 258 6 cylinder engine, A/C, manual brakes, power steering, T5 transmission, Dana 300 transfer case, Dana 30 front axle and Dana 44 rear axle. I purchased this CJ two years ago and it has been a great daily driver for me with a commute of only 6 miles. It has also been fun to work on since I like to "tinker" on cars. It runs great, A/C blows cold air and 4WD works well. It has passed PA's safety and emissions testing and has also been professionally maintained since I purchased it by a Jeep dealership as well as Jeff Daniel's Jeep Customization, in Harleysville PA. It comes with the original hard top and doors as well as a 1 year old black denim Bestop Supertop with two piece soft doors (forgot to get photos with soft top on). Read the following list of customizations and service items performed and you should agree that this is a rare find and just what most CJ enthusiasts are looking for: Performed by PO about 3-4 yrs ago: Weber 32/36 carburetor & fuel pressure regulator New radiator and hoses Excellent paint job on body and hard doors 4" lift Exhaust headers Magnaflow exhaust with cat. New "bead-lock style" wheels (all 5) BFGs ATs 31 10.5 R15 tires with about 90% of tread remaining Rugged Ridge front seats and "fold and tumble" rear seat New carpet OEM style replacement clock and Tachometer Retro style radio with auxiliary input Replaced/serviced over last two years: Engine Compartment: Battery holder and cables Fuel pump Aluminum valve cover and gasket A/C compressor, hoses, drier and conversion to 134a refrigerant Timing chain, cover gasket and crank pulley seal All belts Water pump and gasket Thermostat and gasket Power steering hoses Exhaust and intake manifold gaskets Engine block heater Brake master cylinder BombProof motor mounts Oil pan gasket and rear main seal Under Vehicle: New Front driveshaft (Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shaft) Front and rear Differentials serviced and gear oil replaced Replaced transmission and transfer case fluids All U joints replaced All parking brake cables Front brake pads Rear drums, shoes, cables and springs Exterior items (all new): Front and rear aluminum tube style bumpers Trailer hitch receiver and wiring Black stainless steel side steps Black stainless steel center wheel caps (see new photos of wheels) Warn wireless fog lights Black hood hold downs, vent cover and mirrors Interior items (all new): Floor treated with POR 15 Locking center console with light Glove box door and glove box All weather mats Issues to note: *Three small tears in stitching on driver's seat (see photo) *Body work done by PO under vehicle where roll bar bolts to floor. I don't know what was done, but floor is solid and watertight *Clock runs when lights are off. When the lights are turned on it illuminates OK, but clock stops (likely ground issue or faulty clock IMO) *Bell Housing has oil stain and sometimes a "hanging drop" of oil. Likely coming from rear of valve cover or rear main seal (both replaced less than a year ago) *Needs new body to frame mount bushings. *The bolts in the "bead-lock style" wheels show some rust-My next upgrade would be alloy rims! *Small dents in top of rear window near hinges (see photo).This Jeep is for sale locally and maybe removed before the end of auction.
