Vehicle Detail
1966 Pontiac Le Mans / ConvertibleMileage: Unknown Engine: 389 ci V8 Exterior: Brown Interior: Black Transmission: 3 speed stick VIN:237676P602873Vehicle Title: Clear This car is not numbers matching, it was originally a 6 cylinder, the engine was replaced with a 389 before I got it. This is a resto project. Vehicle does not drive right now. This vehicle is 50 years old, and it has a rusty frame, there are some places that are showing some rust on the body as shown in the photos. The brakes went out while driving it home (have new brake line kit). It had a shifter on the column that I removed so as to convert it to a floor shifter (have a Hurst Conversion kit). Has new convertible top with rear glass window, new interior kit and carpet, gas tank, carb, brake lines (disc brakes), brake booster, front disc brake conversion parts, 9” rear drum conversion parts. Has many spare and new parts as seen in photos (can't list all of the photos, but I can send them to you). I have over $5000.00 invested in in the vehicle and the parts. The engine will need to be overhauled, it has not run in 14 years. Car is sold as is, where is. Buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping this car. Down Payment of $1000 must be made within 48 hours. The balance of the payment must be paid IN CASH within 96 hours of winning the auction. If paying with Cashier's check, it will have to clear before car changes hands. No exceptions. On Oct-15-15 at 18:13:40 PDT, seller added the following information: I just went out and checked the left frame rail again, the holes are worse that I thought. They are also on the inside of the rail. I will try to attach pictures. On Oct-16-15 at 03:52:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Added pictures of the left frame rail. The first picture is in front of the left door, and the next one is behind the door where the frame rail starts going up over the axle. I was told that this is where the frame usually starts to rust out. It will probably need to be replaced.
