1975 Mercedes-Benz 240D Up for sale is my 75 240d that is in excellent condition inside out, All original. I am the third owner of the car and had the car since January 2014. The car is all original and never been restored. The exterior of the car looks excellent and upon close examination paint shows normal wear for a car that was driven since 1975. Had some minor touch ups done on some rock chips and pitting to the front end, also some touch ups around the rear wheel well. Some minor scratches were touched up, the drivers side bottom part of the door was repainted at some point and other than that the rest of the paint is original. Interior of the car looks clean and is all original with an exception of the radio. No rips tears or cracks on seats or dash. All lights on the car function properly, central door locks operate flawlessly. The radio works as it should with an additional speaker in the rear that was installed by the previous owner. All dash lights function properly along with all the gauges including the clock. Car drives straight down the road and doesn't have any unusual noises or vibrations. Engine starts right up and idles a little rough for a few seconds ONLY on cold starts, otherwise runs very smooth, all gears engage properly as you drive. The a/c blows ice cold and heater blows hot. All windows go up and down as they should. Tires have about 90% left on them, recent oil and oil filters change. Also installed new primary and secondary fuel filters along with new belts. Car has some rust in the trunk panel that was treated and painted to prevent rusting inside, otherwise pretty solid everywhere else. I drove this car during the summer only on nice sunny days and it is absolutely a pleasure to drive. This car is a 1975 and in original condition so it does have some minor wear and tear that is normal for a car that age. Car gets a lot of thumbs up everywhere I went.
