Vehicle Detail

Selling a rare 1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible w/ Manual Transmission. This car has only had two previous owners, and has mostly been garaged. It has the factory drag pack (Mach I) small block 351 Windsor engine with four barrel carb and dual exhaust. It is a factory ordered standard 4 speed manual shift (Hurst Package), which is rare because XR7's only came with automatic shift after 71. This car is the perfect marriage of luxury with classic muscle: it features power windows, locks, steering, brakes, and classic Ford sequential turn signals. It also has the original owner's manual, convertible boot (not pictured) and trunk/spare tire liner, rear view mirror, chrome carb cover, and factory Mercury wheel covers. Part of side grill near headlight is cracked, but a factory replacement is included.Passenger side mirror missing and part of passenger side convertible latch handle is broken. As it stands, the car needs some minor body work, paint, as well as a new gas line and tank and air conditioner refurbishing. Interior seating was reupholstered. However, it runs very strong. Looking for serious inquiries only this gem! Only 26,624 miles! Car will need to be towed.
