1997 Mexican Mexi Beetle Mexico manufactured original air-cooled beetles until the 2004 model year (US stopped manufacturing Beetles ~1979). This is a 1997 Mexican manufactured beetle installed on a 1968 pan so it could be registered in the US. The beetle has been registered in Florida, and currently registered in Texas so there will be no problem transferring title. This has a carburetor like most standard Classic US Beetles (this is not fuel injected). Here's why this beetle is worth it:Very Rare: Think about it...20-30 years newer than any US beetle you can find in the US (metal, wiring, interior, engine, paint, etc).
