This is a 63 Mercury Monterey Marauder 2 door fastback. It has been garage kept its entire life. I bought it about two years ago from a life long friend of my mothers. It was her fathers car who he bought new. After he passed she kept it for 8 or 9 years then decided to sell it to me. I've put an enormous amount of time and money in this car but it still needs a few things to be totally restored. The front bench seat, sun visors, head liner, front door panels, and carpet are all original in color and fabric type but brand new. All the rust I found on the car was surface rust which I have oxidized. Their are no badly rusted parts on the car at all. All the trim pieces are there and everything else for that matter except on knob on the radio. The steering wheel and all the dash lenses have been completely restored and the underside of the dash has been painted with a base coat and clear coat. The entire trunk has also been painted and the underside of the front hood. All outside lights work and most of the inside lights but there are a few dash lights that do not. The engine has had all the push rods and seals replaced and a compression check performed on it and it is in perfect running order. It leaks no fluid at all under the engine and sounds perfect when running. The trunk mat is a remake of the original, a plaid burlap. The spare tire and all tire tools are complete and original. The power steering pump has been recently replaced along with the plugs, plug wires, fuel pump, and master brake cylinder. All windows are original except the front passenger door and the front windshield just had a new seal put on because the other was very dry rotted. The gas tank has been dropped, cleaned, de-rusted, and painted. The fuel sending unit in the tank has been replaced. It has 2 brand new front door seals and a new cowl for under the front windshield. The trunk seal is also new. Any buyer will be responsible for pick up and payment before receiving the title, bill of sale, or the vehicle. Thank you
