You are looking at an amazing example of a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado short bed 4wd pickup truck. These trucks are getting impossible to find because most were abused for work vehicles or rusted out from not being taken care of. This one obviously must have stayed inside the majority of it's life, and really cared for, it's just that nice. Below is a brief description and a quality scale at the end of each section:Exterior: All original paint, except for the hood and roof. This is one of the most slick original paint jobs I've ever seen on any vehicle, let alone, a black vehicle of this age. No damages, a couple of minor door dings, won't even show up in a picture, looking down the sides, it's unreal to be original. It truly is beautiful and has a deep gloss. I had the roof stripped to the metal, and hood re-done professionally. Never wrecked, never damaged. Grille had tarnished some, so I replaced it with a new genuine GM part. Trim looks good, bumper pad was a little worn, replaced with GM part, needs nothing else. Doors don't sag like most of these did, still has original door pins in hinges, shut tight. Windshield had a few small chips, replaced it recently. It has just had a full detail polish and wax and is ready to go. Appearance is an easy 9 out of 10.Interior: This truck was ordered with the bucket seat, console option, in that beautiful silver gray ribbed cloth design. In my opinion, GM's finest interior ever. Dash is perfect with no cracks or discoloration, radio works, seats sit awesome and don't have any rips or tears. Carpet has one spot at the seat worn a little, this light color carpet was impossible to keep this clean, its surprisingly fresh looking. Driver's door panel shows a little wear spot at the top about 2 inches where an arm has sit. Passenger side is perfect. Headliner is the only real problem with the interior, it needs to be recovered, around $120 locally to fix, my interior guy is booked until the end of October or it would have already been done. Interior is a 9 out of 10 also.Drivetrain: What more can you say about the trusty 5.7 Liter 350 engine? Runs flawlessly and with 142,000 original miles, it's got another couple hundred thousand miles left in her. Transmission performs as it should everytime. Shifts in and out of all 4wd gears exactly as it should. Had it checked the 4wd checked at a local performance center. Heat is hot, a/c compressor was making a noise, I had it replaced and recharged, it's cold! Everything works as it should windows, locks, etc. Dual Flowmaster exhaust sounds great. Wheels had minor checking in the clear coat, I had them sent off and re-done. They look twice as good as they did when the truck was new. Tires are Goodyear Wrangler 265/75/16 and are new also. Drives and rides like a new one, just had an alignment done at the same time. Mechanics are easy 9 out of 10.In closing, we all know these trucks are impossible to find at all, let alone a rust free, all stock papaw truck like this one. Remember, the truck is 22 years old, not perfect, but damn nice. This truck is ready to enjoy now. Most of my auctions end early with a serious offer, so don't wait until the end and miss out trying to save a buck. These don't come up for sale everyday in this shape.
