Here we go, I have a 2013 Triumph Speedmaster in very nice condition, almost 4600 miles. Mostly stock with the exception of the Cocktail Shaker mufflers and the pinstriped Eagle Globe and Anchor hand painted on the gas tank. I had the computer mapped by a certified Triumph shop at the beginning of the season along with an oil change and safety check. She is ready for the rest of the season and on into the future. I have been out of motorcycling for a while and I am a huge Triumph fan, so I picked up this Speedmaster at the beginning of last season. It has been a wonderful bike, easy to ride, and fast as all get out with the 900 CC engine and 5 speed gearbox. The seat is very comfortable and the riding height is pretty low so you set “in” the bike not “on” the bike. The cruiser style setting position for me is excellent, I love the forward controls. All around it is a huge step up from the old 1960s and 1970’s Bonneville and Trophy Triumphs that I used to ride. Plus it always starts when I want to ride J! The best part for me is that the bike just inspires confidence. It does not have a heavy feel in the corners that you would get from a Harley or something. The acceleration is very quick when you need to roll on some throttle and the brakes are strong and smooth. This bike was is exactly what you need if you are thinking about riding again or you just want an exceptionally nice riding bike that will give you problem free riding for a long time. I really was not thinking about selling it, however my wife wants to start riding. She wants me to get something that she would be more comfortable on for long distances. I’m sure she just wants a huge bagger to put all of her stuff in, ahhhh women…. I did a little video so you could hear it run.
