1967 Pontiac Firebird for sale. Originally was a 326/manual transmission with black code paint. Engine is now a 1970 455 HO 4-bolt main YC code with #64 d-port heads. Engine was bored 30 for TRW forged pistons. Pistons were dished for 9:1 compression. Rotating assembly includs Proline forged steel rods and Eagle cast crank. Rotating assembly was balanced. #64 heads were rebuilt. Engine is topped with stock 4 barrel intake manifold and quadrajet. Exhaust system is Hooker headers and 2-1/2" turbo mufflers. Transmission is rebuilt t-400 with slightly higher than stock torque converter and shift kit. Rear end is original with original 2 traction bar system. Front subframe has new body bushings and front end suspension was rebuilt with Moog parts. Has new front manual disk brakes and has original manual steering. Front of the body is straight, rear quarter panels and tail panel need work and small holes filled from previous unfinished body work. Lower right quarter panel needs to be replaced and a new replacement panel comes with the car loose. Rear floor panels and trunk pan have been replaced. Front and rear window frames are free of rust. Front windshield is recent tinted replacement. Body should be taken down to bare metal for paint preparation, some minor pitting on the roof from long term outside storage. Never had a vinyl top. Interior will need some work, needs headliner and rear seats. Upholstery on front seats needs to be redone. Car is sold as is with no warranty. Buyer to arrange transportation. Vehicle runs and drives, but has never been driven more than a few miles because of old tires. $500 deposit required within 48 hours after completion of bidding.
