Vehicle Detail
This is an exceptional opportunity! Very, very few 41 year old vehicles are this clean! I purchased this 1974 Jeep from the original owner in the summer of 1976. It was originally sold new at a Jeep dealership in Pickens, SC and has been in SC ever since. It has been kept in a garage since 1980. Has never been driven on salty roads and has no rust. Body is all original. Hard top was installed in the late 1970's and I have the original hardware for the soft top. The engine runs great. I installed a water filter shortly after I bought it (can be seen next to radiator in photo) and it does an excellent job of keeping the radiator and water jacket in the block clean. I clamped a tachometer onto the steering column and it can be easily removed if not wanted. The spark plugs, water pump and fuel pump are new, the carburetor has been recently rebuilt. Includes a bolt-on brush guard (not shown) for the front bumper. I fabricated the spare tire carrier and it can be easily removed and the spare tire mounted back in the original position on the right rear fender, if desired. The floor mat and passenger seats upholstery are original. Some of the plastic parts show their age. Step on drivers side is missing. Needs new shocks on the rear. Small dent behind driver side door and in the driver side door. Does not have a jack. I am selling this vehicle to free up garage space. On Sep-13-15 at 19:53:27 PDT, seller added the following information: At the request of a bidder, I have added some photos of the floor without the floor mat in place. Two photos are the floor at the left and right "door posts". Two photos are taken from from the underside of the same areas. In removing the floor mat I did notice some superficial rust in the floor under the gas and brake pedals, so I included a photo of that. The rust is not deep and can be sanded and painted with out much trouble. The other photos are the tail gate.
