Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is my 1974 Bronco, these are getting hard to find, and you will be not disappointed with this one. It has been restored and been driven for approximately 4-5 years on weekends and special occasions for a total of approximately 3000 miles. They are all highway miles, it has never been off road. It has always been garaged and never driven in the snow or rain. It runs and drives terrific. I would drive this anywhere at any distance with confidence. Body & interior New floor pans, rear quarters, taillight buckets and fiberglass hood. The quarters and taillight buckets are bolted and por-15 epoxied to assure a long term rust free seam. The exterior is Ford Grabber Blue. The interior is done in Blue bed liner. The dash is Wimbledon white with a black dash pad with minor cracks. The original steering column was rebuilt with a custom steering wheel. Twin shifter for the transfer case and custom stainless shifter for the transmission. It has grey leather bucket seats from a Blazer that are very comfortable. It has a roll bar with shoulder harness belts attached to it. It has a Bestop soft top that has a small repaired area just above the roll bar on the drivers side, it's hard to see and does not leak. Engine & drivetrain The 351 Windsor was rebuilt with new rings and bearings. The heads have stock valves with hardened seats installed. Upgrades include Edlebrock package with matching cam, lifters, intake and carb, Ford Duraspark electronic ignition, GM style one wire alternator, high flow water pump, aluminum radiator, James Duff headers and dual exhaust with Walker mufflers. The Tremek 4speed transmission with overdrive was rebuilt with new shafts and bearings and has a modified output shaft to mate with the transfer case. The stock transfer case was rebuilt with new shafts and bearings and modified to accept the twin stick shifter. The rear Ford nine inch was rebuilt with new bearings, 4:10 ring and pinion, drums, brake components and lines. The front Dana 44 was rebuilt with new bearings, 4:10 ring and pinion, outer axles, ball joints, locking hubs, Tom's Broncos disc brake conversion and steering linkage. Steering, Suspension & Brakes The steering box is a B C Broncos 4x4x2 conversion with quick ratio with a new slip joint input shaft and drag link. The frame has been plated for additional rigidity. The springs are 3.5 inch Deaver coils up front and 11 leaf in the rear. James Duff shocks. James Duff urethane bushings throughout. The power brake system is upgraded with a 2007 F250 hydroboost with an 1 1/8 inch bore master cylinder and Willwood adjustable proportioning valve. All new brake lines on the frame and new parking brake cables. Wheels & Tires Chrome steel Eagle Alloy wheels with 35 x 12.5 Good Year MTR tires. Terms Serious inquires only. Sold as is.
