1956 Nash Rambler

Up for your bids is a 1956 Nash Rambler 4 door sedan six cylinder three speed on the tree standard. Car was found in a storage yard in rural Alberta and had been there for a few years. I located the owner in a nursing home in Calgary and purchased the car. I trailered the car back to Calgary to assess my purchase. Car was free of mice and droppings and over all clean inside. Previous owner had started to strip the interior and removed glove box, door panels and kick plates, but all are there. I removed front rubber floor cover to show rust in floors. Rear floors seem solid as does the trunk. Owner said floors were good when parked, but the damp ground has done some damage, but repairable. Body of car is in remarkable condition, with some wear spots on old paint and small one inch by two surface rust behind rear window on drivers side but other wise a very clean body! I put a battery in car and primed the carburetor in in two or three turns it ran beautifully. All the electrical are working and car will drive with usual start up procedures, such as brakes bled and clutch fluid added. Chrome is very nice with minimal pitting, but does have some damage due to being hooked to move around { before me }, but can be straightened. Rear windows have small vent windows that open, that is a nice feature. I am hoping that someone collects these beautiful old cars and can bring it back to a glorious life! thanks for looking, email or call if you have questions.
