He purchased the car in Sept 2009 w/ approx 70k miles. I have most of the service records since it was purchased in 2009 (missing some oil change receipts). The IMA battery was replaced in Aug 2009 by the dealer, under factory warranty. For 2 years I drove this car as my daily commuting vehicle, routinely achieving over 60 mpg. The only reason i'm selling now is because I recently changed jobs and can now take public transportation. The car runs and drives great. All gears shift fine. No clutch slippage. Brakes stop straight and smooth. The IMA battery charges and assists properly. The only operation issue of note is a rattle (to me it sounds like an exhaust rattle) when the car is idling or accelerating. Once at speed the rattle stops. This does not seem to affect operation of the car and I suspect it is just something loose. The car includes a custom Grid Charger based on the original design by mike @ 99mpg.com. The IMA light came on about 1.5 years ago which prompted me to install the grid charger. Since installing the grid charger I havent had any battery issues. The exterior of the car has some nicks and scratches to be expected of age, but no major dents or damage. The headlights do have some hazing, but they are functional. The interior of the car is in good shape. There are some drink spill stains namely on the passenger seat and floor, it should clean up with some shampoo. The seats have custom fitted blue/black covers made of a neoprene sort of material. They are very nicely constructed and were originally several hundred dollars. The car has no existing warranty and is being sold as-is. I have done my best to describe everything I know about the car but I would highly encourage you to come take a look at the car in person and drive it. I'd be happy to discuss any additional details about the car or provide any additional pictures. Thanks for looking.
