Up for sale is a used 1995 Chevy Suburban 2WD, 6.5 Turbo Diesel with approximately 225,000 miles (223K at the time of this writing but I am driving the vehicle daily. Vehicle had been set up to run waste vegetable oil, but when I got tired of the extra labour involved in hunting for and filtering fuel, I removed most of those components and reinstalled the 3rd row seat (included but not pictured). Strong engine. Oil changed with Rotella every 3,000 miles. I am told that this motor is very desirable, since it is still running strong at 200K+ miles. This is the same engine used in military Hummers. This truck has been great. It's been my daily driver for 3 years, but my new job has added an extra 160 miles per week to my commute so I will be living the Prius lifestyle to save on fuel (please dont laugh). Youll find a perfect record on Carfax etc., with the exception of a loan/lien event from when it was purchased by its original owner (I believe you will be the 6th owner). I guess that means it was originally purchased by a company? Anyway, there is certainly no outstanding loan/lien or claim of any type and you will receive a clear NJ title. UPGRADES: Kenwood USBÁOå—2FFM CD player Spectre Performance High Flow cold air intake system. 285/70 R17 tires. New front tires. Good tires on back. $1200 aftermarket rims. Comes with originals with tires mounted. Custom oversized exhaust Heath Turbomaster Adapter Dual electric radiator cooling fans Custom Center console with gages (turbo boost pressure, pyrometer, oil temp and a disconnected fuel gage that used to go to the WVO tank) and 10 switches you can use as you wish as well as storage space and a location to add an amp and 8 inch woofer. Fuel pump PMD is relocated to front grill (common upgrade) as the factory location was prone to causing them to fail from overheating. Has electric controller for trailer brakes. And it still has some components for WVO if you want to re-convert. It has the encapsulated WVO fuel lines which heat the WVO using engine coolant, and it has the valve solenoid in the engine compartment to switch to alternate fuel lines. It also has the wiring to control: an extra fuel pump, water pump, and purge circuit. (The WVO pumps, filter, heat exchanger, tank etc. are NOT included in this auction). The wiring and some hoses associated with the previous WVO system are left in their disconnected but not uninstalled state. ISSUES: Crack in windshield. (Picture shows about half the length of the crack. The verticle part of the crack didn't show in the picture for some reason). Normal use scratches and dings, wear and tear… well – no actual tear. Could use a good cleaning inside.One seatbelt connector plastic housing is missing as well as a few other plastic covers here and there. Rear passenger side interior door lock lever is unhooked. (Still works with electric switch). A/C not working. Belt screeches when turned on.Rear heat/AC is not hooked up.White puff at startup. Pretty sure all these diesels do that.The ignition circuit connected to run the coolant fan got disconnected at some point. I couldn't find it, so I hooked up the fan to switch number 5 and the whole auxiliary switch panel to number 10. See the picture. In the summer, I've just been switching number 10 on when I start the engine and off when I park. (Easy fix). TERMS: This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty.
