Thank you for taking a look at this iconic 1961 Mercedes-Benz SL190 finished in Gray with Red leather interior and black convertible top. This car is not a matching numbers car, the transmission and bottom half of the engine ARE numbers matching but the block is not( WE UNDERSTAND THE BLOCK WAS REPLACED EARLY ON IN THE CARS LIFE HOWEVER, THIS CAN NOT BE VERIFIED), this car has been fully restored with a new interior, the body has been completely restored down to bare metal there are currently no dents or scratches, no rust however, there are a couple of paint defects which are evident in the pictures. The chrome shows very well, the hood and drivers door could do with an alignment, see pictures, the hood could do with touching up in the corners as the paint has chipped because of the alignment issue. This car has had the ignition system updated for easy starting however, all the original ignition system comes with the car and can easily been returned to standard.
