Vehicle Detail

For sale is my parent's 2004 Jaguar XJR-Supercharged with 97K miles on it. This is the fully loaded model - Touch Screen Navigation, BlueTooth Telephone Hands Free Connection, Heated Front and Rear Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, Rear Shade, Rear Parking Sensors, Leather Interior, etc etc. This is an extremely fast and powerful car. They have owned this car since late 2009, they have since brought the car from NY to Scottsdale, AZ and it was kept at their house in Fountain Hills. The main use was for the winter period when they came in for golf. It no longer gets any use as they sold their property and they no longer have any use for it. The car has been parked for the last 5 or 6 months, no one drives the car...the car is currently titled (no liens), registered and insured - it has the current AZ emissions. The car has a Salvage/Rebuilt title. The rebuilt title was issued in NY after they hit a deer, the claim was "incident with animal" - I have enclosed a picture of the CARFAX showing the Police report. The deer hit the front bumper (small nick still there), then the edge of the hood (small nick still there), its legs went through the windshield and its antlers have shattered the sunroof and dented the roof line. The insurance totaled the car due to repair costs...The sunroof/roof was fixed in NY at a body shop - 5 months after the repair the sunroof stopped working again. They fixed the sunroof again while in AZ, and it still DOESN'T work. There is no water leak or wind leak - but the power sunroof doesn't work. My parent's have put so much maintenance money in this car, that I think the repairs have totaled more than the car - my father is anal about maintenance. Over the last few years the following items have been replaced: Throttle Body, Plugs and Coils, Coolant Expansion Bottle, Water Pump, Thermostat, Serpentine Belt, Philips Xenark Xenon OEM bulbs, New Battery, Front and Rear Air Shocks and rebuilt Air Shock Compressor, Fuel Filter and Fuel Pump, Tires, Rotors and brakes etc etc. Many more repairs have been performed over the years - I simply cannot remember everything. The car is only run on Mobil 1 Synthetic and Super Unleaded Gasoline. The engine is in perfect shape, starts on first key and has AMAZING Power! The Transmission is smooth and shifts through all gears perfectly. The tires are brand new, maybe 300 miles on them. Rear brakes are new, front are about 50% from what they remember. All the interior electronics are fully functional, Navigation works great, BT Phone connection works great, very nice sound through the stereo and subwoofer...The car has great AC - it will freeze the car in AZ weather! Great Heat + heated seats and steering wheel. The interior is clean, no stains or major rips in the leather. They are non-smokers. The exterior is in nice shape, will need a buff and wax as it is sitting parked outside in 118 degree weather...The clearcoat and paint are perfect, no oxidation. The car comes with Original Owner's Manuals, 1 OEM key ( I will look through his storage place for the 2nd key) and Extra Set of Weather Resistant Floor Mats. You are more than welcome to come and test drive the car - just give me a 24 hr window as I am only 2 to 3 days per week in Scottsdale. I have pictures of the damage from the accident and Carfax available, just send me your email. The BAD - Salvage/Rebuilt title. The overhead roof liner is starting to sag in the corners from the extreme AZ sun beating on it, it is not hanging down it is just unglued. The Suspension light comes on after about 3 to 4 hrs of driving in hot AZ weather. In the winter months the light stays OFF. The problem started in 2013 and the local British Garage diagnosed it as a leak in the rear left air shock - BOTH rear Shocks were replaced with Jaguar OEM. In 2014 the light came back and they replaced the FRONT shocks, 1 month later the light came back on and they REBUILT the front Air Compressor for the Air System - Guess what? The light still comes on every so often. It does not stay on continuously, the code it gives has to do with the Air Compressor which is already rebuilt...We measured the height on all corners and there is NO loss of air from any side, even after 5 months of being parked the car is riding high. They no longer have the patience or the time to diagnose it anymore - it doesn't affect the driveability of the car in any way, the light just comes on after driving for a while...There are times when it will NOT light up. There is a nick on the front bumper and hood edge where the deer originally hit. It was never fixed. There is a scratch on the rear bumper by the Parking Sensor...The sunroof will not open/close with the power button. It was fixed 2 times and still doesn't work. The GOOD - Great Car, I wouldn't hesitate to drive it back to NY or Cross Country. A lot of money went in it in maintenance and upkeep. DISCLAIMER - This is a 2004 vehicle. It is used, it has 97K miles+ on it - it is NOT NEW or MINT. It is being Sold AS IS and Where IS, with no written or implied warranty or guarantees. It carries a salvage/rebuilt title. It is also SOLD with NO reserve. The buyer can fly into AZ and drive it home. Any shipping costs are on the buyer, I can help with the logistics. A non-refundable paypal deposit of $200.00 is expected at the end of the auction, the balance in 7 days. Balance is to be paid in cash, bank wire or cashier's check. Title and car will not be release until payment clears. I reserve the right to end the auction early since the car is advertised locally. On Aug-23-15 at 10:01:39 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer some questions I have received: Exterior Color is British Racing Green. It gets about 22MPG on the HWY and I would say about 18 in the city. The Jaguar Dealer Recalls that were performed - replaced the AC/Heater Fan Speed Resistor, updated the Software for the Engine and Transmission Management. It does have the Adaptive Cruise Control and the Proximity Alarm. Yes, I am open to offers before the auction's end.
