Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1964 Chevrolet El Camino pickup. It is painted in the factory light blue metallic color, with a matching bucket seat interior. It has a rebuilt 283, with a Muncie 4-speed transmission (with Hurst shifter), and a 10 Bolt rear end with 3:70 gears. The engine has a high performance cam (slightly lopey idle), Edelbrock intake and carb, was bored .040, with a Pertronix Ignitor distributor and coil, high performance plug wires, high volume chrome fuel pump, new aluminum radiator, stainless overflow tank, and chrome fan shroud. It runs VERY well, shifts like it should, and has no mechanical issues. The truck has a full dual exhaust system, with glasspack mufflers, new power disc brakes in front, new alternator, belts, and hoses. The truck did not come with power steering, and it drives easily without it, so it was never added. The paint is about 3 yrs. old, and I have recently re-done some of it that wasn't up to my standards. I feel that it is now all show quality paint, and is very straight with no rust. The bumpers, wheel moldings, headlight bezels, emblems, tailgate molding, and roof rail moldings are all new. I recently installed NOS GM door edge guards, and an NOS gas filler guard, along with re-chromed front bumper guards. The rest of the trim is very nice original parts. All weatherstrips are new, as are the door handles, window cranks, etc. I just installed a new set of 15x7 and 15x8 Wheel Vintique steel wheels, painted them to match, and installed new reproduction hubcaps, along with a new set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. All of the front steering and suspension parts have been replaced as needed, along with all chassis bushings, new springs, and new shocks (factory rear air shock option). The underside has all been painted flat black by the previous owner. The bed cover is also new, and is hinged, with struts to hold it open when un-latched. The bed has been repainted, but not all dents were removed. There is a new rubber bed floor cover in place as well. The trim tag says this truck was born with a light fawn interior, and a bench seat. At some point when near new I suspect, bucket seats were installed, and the interior changed to the current matching light blue. All gauges and lights work, and the dash chrome parts are new. I installed a tachometer where the clock was, and it looks factory installed. The seats and carpet are re-dyed older parts, but show no damage, but the headliner and visors are new. The wiring has been replaced as needed, and the front park lights are all new assemblies. Overall this is a VERY nice, powerful, and mostly all new, show winning truck.
