Vehicle Detail

Last Chance Listing: Dealer offered me $12k to buy outright, so I wanted to offer the community a chance to get this car before the dealer mark-up. I bumped it up a few $ to cover listing fees and pocket $200. I thought I could do someone a favor, otherwise someone is going to end up paying a premium for the exact same car. When I bought this Corvette for a car project, it was advertised with an engine built for forced induction, performance cam, custom exhaust with the Z06 Ti muffler (with welded cross-bar), Kooks headers, Wilson Fast intake, ported throttle body, and a Blackwing air intake. I haven't torn the car apart to see what all else is in the engine, but the visual bolt-ons are there and the car has always been FAST and immediately responsive. I never needed any more power, so no forced induction was ever installed, but this would make an excellent track car. Overall, the car is in good condition with normal wear for it's age. I would say condition-wise it is a 7.5/10. Mechanically, the car is sound with no issues - no leaks and no check engine lights - shifts smooth and I've never had any problems with the car. Some scratches on the rear bumper and one larger stress-crack on the rear bumper that measures ~3"x3" (see images). The targa-top rubber seal has a small rip in it (see images) and does leak when I wash the car. I only drive the car on sunny days, so I've never had this replaced. Interior has modern touches and is in good shape with a few minor blemishes here and there. No one thinks it's a 2000! There is a small quarter-sized rip in the front driver's side seat from getting in and out. I am willing to drive it to any inspection station in Bellefonte or State College and have a mechanic of your choice look it over prior to purchase. There's a few minor issues from the performance modifications that I've noticed: The wheels were replaced with Z06 wheels that are both larger and do not have functioning TPS sensors - so both a "service active handling" and "Check Air Pressure" message comes up (confirmed by the Chevy dealer). Because of the large cam, if you downshift abruptly and stop, the ECU will "rev hunt" for the appropriate idle RPM. This can easily be fixed with a proper tune, but I've never had the extra $400 to get it done and doesn't bother me. It's a beautiful car that I would love to keep, but moving to California, and I need something more economical and auto for traffic. I'm happy to bring the car out for your inspection or take additional pictures or check out anything in the engine. Shipping companies are welcome to pick up the car at my work, which is a non-residential area. ***Mileage may change slightly, as the car is still being driven on occasion.*** The performance engine build and the custom exhaust makes this car sound epic: See a video of this item
