For sale is a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L V8 with about 168k miles on it. For the past few years that I have owned the car it has been great. Only things I had to replace were the struts, oil pressure sensor, steering stabilizer, and track bar bushings. Most was preventative maintenance. I also had a brand new AC compressor installed last month so it blows ice cold. Was planning on keeping it for a couple more years until the transmission started giving me issues. It is stuck in what they call "limp home mode" so it will not shift into anything past second gear. The transmission will most likely either need to be replaced or rebuilt from what I understand. It could also be something simple for all I know. It has a clean Texas title and the registration is up to date but it will need to be inspected. Check engine light is for a P0700 code (Transmission related). Hate to get rid of it but the wife and I are choosing to move down to a single vehicle.
