I got this awesome CJ-5 about a year ago, but it's one too many vehicle, so it's got to go. It has a good-running AMC 304 V8 engine and three speed manual transmission. The Jeep has brand new tires, and got a brand new brake job last fall. Tranny and transfer case had some seals repaired and the clutch has been adjusted. I replaced the steering gear with a remanufactured unit, and there's very little play now. Battery and speedometer have been also been replaced is also new - I have no idea how many miles it has on it. Odo was busted when I got it and it shows about 1,300 miles now. I bought a carb rebuild kit recently but haven't done the work yet. It comes with it. As noted above, the paint is well worn, but the Jeep still looks great. The top is the old snap style and is very worn. The rear window is pretty well ripped, and all the windows are hard to see out of. With a new top, this Jeep will be ready to roll year-round.
