I have recently been laid off and will be moving back home to Chicago in a month or two. Due to the move I am selling some of my toys, this auction is for my 1986 Indianapolis Pace Car Corvette, I have a 1991 vette (last picture) also so I don’t need both C4s. I have owned this car for about 8yrs and have restored many aspects of the car from mechanical to cosmetics, below is a list of things I have replaced, the brand, and costs. I know I wont get what I put into the car back, and know that it still needs a thing or two to be finished, MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN! The car currently has 63,000 miles and I have brand new emblems that are included with the car (pictured). Paint is a 6 out of 10, a few bubbles on driver’s door and one on hood by emblem. Paint was redone a number of years ago, not show quality but looks good at 5 feet. This car has been cared for but is not a garage queen, I had purchased the car in 2007 with 37K miles and it now has 63K, so it shows I drove it close to 30k mile in the 8yrs I've owned it.Please note: I am moving in a month and will not be able list this auction several times, so bid now before you miss out. Street Legal Racing Brakes, Drilled and Slotted Rotors Brand is EBC – Summer 2014 Part Number EBC-S5KR1044 & EBC-S5KF1072 Cost for Parts Alone $7005. Air Conditioner Compressor and Refilled with Freon, Blows Ice Cold – Summer 20146. New belts and pulleys (increase horsepower) – Summer 2009 Cost of Parts over $100 & labor of $1007. New KYB Shocks on all 4 tires – Winter 2009 Cost of Parts $250 & labor of $2008. Magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust – Summer 2009 Cost of Parts over $550 & labor of $150What Still Needs to be Done:1. The Car Currently Needs The Transmission Rebuilt, will not shift into 3rd or 4th gear, this is a known issue for 700r4 transmissions and just requires a 3-4 shift pack to be replaced, the kit costs $300.2. Original Bose Cassette/Radio works but some speakers need the amps rebuilt, there is also no antenna in the car. 3. New tires, which I have but are not included with this auction. Can be sold separately!4. The only thing left to have a 100% refinished interior, interior door panels are peeling slightly, could use glue or buy new panels for a couple hundred.
