Hello - I sell this bike reluctantly. Here is the backstory...I started building this about 5 years ago. I purchased a very clean 2003 Bonneville with just over 5000 miles that was well kept and cared for. My goal was to create a very cool cafe racer (modeled after a bike I saw at BritishCustoms.com) that was a real head turner. Mission accomplished. The problem is that it's been sitting in my garage collecting dust. I have a few bikes already and this beauty just doesn't get the attention it deserves. Below is a list of items that purchased for it. Aside from the bike all the mods listed were purchased new and in parenthesis I put where they came from. I kept very good notes. This bike sounds like a dream and I can't park it anywhere without cameras coming out and asking me a hundred questions. It's really beautiful and fun to drive. Notice the back tire has been fitted with a 180/18 and the front with a 120/21. You won't see that size on many triumphs because the chain has to be offset because the tire is so big in the back. This has racing carbs which make it go like a bat out of hell. I went with the KEIHIN CR-2 vs the FCR because I find the FCR require too much maintenance with the jets (I have the FCRs on a scrambler). The reserve on this bike is $7500. The mods alone cost that. Hopefully it will pull in much more than that but it's a good opportunity to get a dream bike for a great price. NOTE: This is pickup only unless you handle all aspects of arranging a shipper.
