2004 Ford F-450 XLT diesel 4x4 crew cab upfitted by authorized Ford upfitter - Classy Chassis of Valparaiso. IN. Truck delivered new from factory directly to upfitter. Upfitter removed factory captain's chairs and installed custom upgraded captain's seats with dual arm rests and upgraded leatherette uphostery and reupholstered the rear seat in like material. The interior is beautiful with woodgrain decor similar to the Lariat trim. The Classy Chassis bed was installed with a 90 gallon auxiliary fuel tank tied in with the factory 40 gallon fuel tank giving this vehicle great range. I have pulled a large fifth wheel RV all the way from north of Grand Rapids, Michigan to Bloomsburg, PA without refueling. It has three storage compartments on each side for a total of six. The bed is designed specifically for towing, either fifth wheel RV's or conventional trailers with both a 20K RV 5th wheel hitch installed and a class 5 receiver and hitch installed. The 5th wheel hitch can be removed allowing the use of the bed for other tasks if desired. I have never used the truck for anything other than its designed purpose however other than hauling some mulch or yard materials for my lawn. This truck has never been misused and it has been well-cared for throughout the years. It has always been garaged except for when on RV trips. The truck is upgraded with stainless wheel covers and has extensions to check tire air pressure and inflation when necessary without having to remove the wheel covers. The front wheels can be locked or unlocked for 4 wheel drive without removing the covers as well. The crew cab has lighted exterior grab bars for the rear seat passengers. The batteries are near new - they were replaced just one year ago. The truck recently went through the annual Pennsylvania required inspection with flying colors. Overall, the truck is in excellent condition and appears like new and only has 34,298 miles on it, most of which are long distance RVing miles. The original cost before taxes, taxes etc., was just over $72,000. The addition of taxes, registration,etc., brought the total cost to over $75,000. I have all of my original papers and I can verify the veracity of these figures if anyone wants to see them. The sale price for this vehicle is only $23,000. Since I am a private party I can only accept cash for the sale which can be by cash in hand, cashiers check, bank money order. No personal checks. Possession and delivery can be had after the clearance of the payment. The buyer is responsible for arranging for the delivery of the vehicle. The title is free and clear.
