Please read entire listing before you bid! First this is a very cool ford truck, but it needs some work, so if you are looking for a truck you can jump in and drive to work this is not it. That is why the prIce is what it is. If you know about these trucks they are going up in value and collectability! I jump in it and drive it around my property and it's fun. Classic four wheel drive, 1978 ford step side straight body with surface rust and some rust spots ask if you want more info/pictures. lifted with fox shocks in the front and pro comp in the back. this truck has been modified it has a 351 Windsor, power plus aluminum intake, Holley four barrel carb. has headers and dual exhaust flow master mufflers Dana 44 front end with AVM heavy duty lockingice hubs and disc brakes. THE HEADERS ARE NON 4X4 HEADERS, because this year truck did not come with a 351 w. so the guy I bought it from took off the front drive shaft, I might have one in my garage. also the previous owner who put in the 351 w had to make his own motor mounts. the truck runs strong but needs electrical work. I put in a new ignition switch but can not start the truck from inside the cab, so the wiring needs a little work. truck also has tilt steering wheel which is very rare and also has new carpet kit. this truck has many positives but also some negatives, all in all a very strong solid 4x4. The truck runs well, but the front end is a little loose, so the steering needs work. The giant bald tires are a big part of the problem. YOU WIll HAVE TO BRING THE REGISTRATION UP TO DATE. ABOUT $600 AND ALSO THE TRUCK DOESN'T HAVE THE SMOG PARTS ON IT TO PASS SMOG IN SOME PARTS OF CA. UNLESS YOU LIVE OUT IN A COUNTY WERE THEY DON'T REQUIRE SMOG!!
