1980 Chevrolet Camaro close to complete restoration finished aside from exterior cosmetics. I obtained this car from the owner who had owned it since 1982. No rust except in lower trunk jam which is not visible unless the trunk is opened and is still minor. It has been in Mississippi and Louisiana it's whole life with over 30 years in Mississippi so it has not seen any salty roads or beaches. Everything on this vehicle works as it should aside from the fuel gauge which does not work. Brand new Mr. Goodwrech engine installed about 2 years ago. 5.7 litre 350 V8 It's fuel injected and also has been upgraded to an electronic ignition, electric fans, and a new aluminum radiator that was just replaced earlier this year. Newer transmission also. New instrument cluster so we don't know the exact mileage but the newer engine has less than 30,000 miles on it. And approximately 170K on complete car. The A/c and A/c lines, alternator, water pump, thermostat, belt, hoses were all redone when the engine went in. None of this work was inexpensive. Complete new exhaust also. All mechanics of this car are 100% and does not need a thing. Go anywhere! Brand new interior including seats, dashboard, headliner, carpet, and door panels. The inside of this car looks new. Door seals, and window seals have been replaced within the past 8 years. The engine starts every time on the first turn and purrs like a kitten and the transmission shifts smoothly. Drives perfect with no pulls, shakes, or strange noises. A/C works and blows good. Great sounding Pioneer Stereo with Cd. Tires are in great shape and they are mounted on custom alloy wheels. Paint is faded especially on the top panels of the car. Exterior would need paint and exterior flaws fixed. However the outside is still in good shape. It was repainted 19 years ago the original color. The person that owned this car maintained it meticulously and never abused it in any way. They used it as their daily driver for over 30 years.
