This auction is for a used 1997 Ford Expedition XLT in sage green as pictured. Truck has 138,000+ showing on the odometer which has stopped working so not sure of actual mileage on vehicle. Seats are torn dash is cracked in multiple places but nothing that a $20 dash pad won't cover. Truck starts right up every time and runs pretty good until she heats up then a knock in the engine starts happening and the check engine light starts flashing. 4 wheel drive works great and the previous owner put many new parts in this truck - suspension and front end are nice and tight and goes down the road real well with good brakes and ice cold air. The previous owner took reasonably good care of this truck - nice body and chrome - interior needs some tlc but very repairable with some seat covers and a dash pad. Third rear seat is here - rear gate doesn't want to open but sometimes does. Im not sure what the engine needs as am not a mechanic but someone said it might be a rod or bearings. This truck has so much potential I wanted to keep her going as opposed to getting $600 from the scrap man for her as we need the room in the driveway and just want to move her on out to a new home.
