Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is a stunning 2002 Collector's Edition Trans Am with just over 92,000 original miles. It's bone stock with no modifications other than tint applied to side and rear windows. The factory LS1 V8 with Ram Air Induction and 4spd automatic transmission run like new. The engine has great oil pressure and pulls strong. There are no mechanical issues at all with this Pontiac. The underside is dry and clean and there is absolutely no rust anywhere . You can jump in and drive it anywhere .... very reliable. The steering is tight and stays strait when traveling in a straight line. The brakes have no vibrations, they stop on a dime and have greater than 50% pad material remaining. The shocks and struts do squeak a little when cold, but overall work fine. The tires are Michelin Pilots and have about 35% tread remaining. The factory exhaust system is all original and still retains all four cats. The convertible top is in excellent condition, it goes up and down with the touch of a button. The Power antenna goes up and down as well. Everything works as it should including the remote key fob to lock and unlock doors and setting factory alarm system. In short, this is a solid vehicle with no major issues. These CETA TA's are special because they were created in the final year of 2002 to signal the end of a continuous 35 year production run of all Firebirds from 1967 to 2002. I'm not sure what the exact production figures are for this model, but being a convertible makes it an even lower number. I have a clear open title in previous owners name and available to assist in shipping, if needed. If you have any questions, please send me a message and will respond promptly. Thanks for looking and if you decide to make a bid good luck! On Aug-09-15 at 05:58:07 PDT, seller added the following information: The headlights were converted over to HID's a couple of years ago, so the lights are twice as bright as originals. There are no rips, tears or worn area's in either the leather seats or carpeting. The headliner is not sagging anywhere. The dash panel is perfect with no cracks. The vehicle shows no signs of interior cigarette smoke related smell or damage. All of the glass is in outstanding condition and the side windows have dark window film professionally applied. Every inch of the rubber molding is in good condition. This car looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. If you were to replace the two small birds on the hood scoops (dried-out somewhat) and repair the small door panel cracks, it could easily pass as a 25 to 30 grand ultra low mileage trailer queen. The best part about this vehicle is the way it drives and handles. If you have never driven or owned this model year car before, you don't know what you are missing. It doesn't get any better in 2002 when you have the LS1 engine with Ram Air Induction. To this day, it still possesses a formidable challenge to the competition. The previous owner told me that the majority of the miles were mostly all AZ highway miles and I would have to agree. The steering and suspension is tight. The oil pressure is strong and there are no fluid leaks of any kind. It does not burn any oil whatsoever. The water temperature stays at a consistent 190 to 195 degrees. The A/C works perfectly! The underside is practically as clean as the top of the car. The winning bidder will not be disappointed!
