Car was purchased by my son and his college roommate in North Carolina in November 2013. They were told they were the third owner and all of the owners had been in North Carolina. They had intentions of doing a lot of work to it but ran out of money and the roommate decided to transfer schools so I bought out the roommate and had the car trailered to MD where I live in May 2014. It has been garaged and I have only driven it less than 30 miles since then so I am not very familiar with the car. The boys put new Continental tires on the car and did some minor electrical work. It is one of only 205 "Weissach Edition" 928s that were sold (this one is number 170) which included two tone interior, gold paint and some other features including Porsche luggage. The Porsche luggage is nowhere to be found. The electronics seem to be operating properly -pop-up headlights, power windows, sunroof, electric locks, etc. The air conditioning is not working and there is a red light that is constantly on when the car is running, I have no idea what that light means but my son tells me that it is a warning light that is typically on in these cars and does not indicate a problem. The car is definitely fast and the transmission seem to be working great. My son said that there was a slight water leak but I have not noticed any leak. We have an almost perfect spoiler for this car that has not yet been installed. The spoiler on the car is in bad shape, but the replacement is very nice.
