Vehicle Detail

1995 Chevrolet Caprice Police wagon, 9C1/1A2 package, being sold for the Estate of a good friend's widow. My friend was a wagon collector and Police car aficionado, this was the Holy Grail of wagons to him. Total production run for Police wagons from 1991- 1995 was 846, 1995 was the last year of production, this car was built in June of 1995, at the same plant where the Impala SS's were produced, making this one of the last 1A2 wagons produced. There were only 70 of these wagons produced in 1995, making this one of the rarest Chevrolets ever produced. This car is in very nice condition, never abused, original paint, some minor blemishes, but not typical service wear. Was made for the New York state thru-way, in the dark blue, and then put into service at the scale, this was never a K9 unit, equipped with all Police options, has 3rd seat, 5.7 LT1, ticket light spotlight, certified speedo, silicone hoses, anti lock brakes, also I have been told the speed governor has been set at 155mph. These wagons have the same engine as a Corvette, except they have cast iron heads, and a reported 300HP, with a flash programmable ECM. The A/C blows warm, and the exhaust although sounds great, will eventually need replacing, as it is the original. The car has new tires, oil cooler lines, and battery, this wagon runs and drives great, and is a real head turner. The body has no rust, and has never been repaired or repainted, and there is very little evidence of stickers, there is one factory hole in the roof above the passenger side for wiring. This rare wagon is being sold AS IS, No Warranty Either Express or Implied, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have about this car, personal inspections are welcomed, its as nice in person, a rare find indeed. Please be serious when bidding, and be able to complete the sale if you are the winning bidder, a $1,000 deposit is required within 24 hrs of end of auction, and payment within 3 days, and all funds must clear before car will be released, this car has clean NJ title, and I have all proper, surrogates certificates to finish sale, for the estate. If you have 0 feedback you must contact me first or your bid will be rejected, no negative feedback bids will be honored, again, you are welcome to inspect in person, and PLEASE ask any questions you may have. Thank you and good luck bidding. . On Jul-18-15 at 19:16:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked about the condition of the underbody of the wagon, the car has NO Rust through on the car, the quarter panels are original and have not been repaired, the bottom of the doors are perfect. I took pictures today and have them for those that are interested, I tried to update the auction listing to ad the pictures, and I could not change the pictures already on the auction. I do have clear pictures and I am happy to send to anyone interested in condition of doors and underside of the car. Thanks and good luck bidding, for the foreign buyers interested, I am not far from Port Newark for shipping purposes if you make arrangements. Thanks again for your interest in this rare Chevrolet On Jul-20-15 at 15:47:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Update, on 7/20/2015, spoke to my friend's widow today, and the reserve has been lowered to very close to where bid is now on this rare wagon, the car is on here to be sold. So bid to buy as she has instructed me to sell her husband's pride and joy. Good luck bidding, and I will be checking for any last minute questions on the car, as the auction is over tomorrow. Thank you for your interest. On Jul-20-15 at 16:43:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Important note, I was incorrect on the mileage of the Chevrolet, the miles are 127,340, not much of a difference, but it may make a difference to someone, when bidding, I have 100% positive feedback and do not want to make a mistake, on something so simple, also I was just asked, the miles are clear, the dash does not fade in and out, the miles are clear and bright on the das readout. Please ask any questions, this car is very reasonably priced to settle the estate. Thanks
