It was during 1968 that the Galaxie was restyled which changed the grille and set the headlights to sit horizontally instead of vertically like the previous years in the generation. This 1967 is the last year of the body style originally produced for the third generation and that is what makes this car so special. This specific example is painted in a fantastic looking light blue paint that has metallic flakes mixed in, in the sun this car really catches your eye, there are no blemishes to note on this great looking paint job. This Galaxie is rust free and has never had any rust repair done to the floors. The trim is the weak link on this otherwise nice car, it is showing its age with some pitting and blemishes but still presents very well. The car is mostly stock with just a couple of Edelbrock chrome dress up parts on the engine and a set of aftermarket fifteen inch American Racing wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra tires, both the wheels and tires are in great shape. The interior like the trim work is beginning to show its age as well, overall it is in good shape but the dash pad is cracked and it will need a little work elsewhere, however it still presents itself very well, especially the seats which are all original and still in great shape.. This is a good driver quality example of one of the more memorable cars Ford produced during the 1960s.
