For sale: Super clean and dry 72 Dodge Power Wagon W100 4x4 original survivor 360 4bbl A/C truck with desirable hubs/divorced transfer case. From the high desert of Montana, land of the sagebrush and prickly pear cactus. Lightly used by an older owner and never mudded, wheeled, or hooned. Really a survivor, you can still see the factory chalk marks under hood and in the door post. Equipped with dealer A/C but some of the under hood A/C components have been removed. Unlike their Chevy/Ford counterparts, the 72 Power Wagon trucks are rare, especially in this condition. Exterior: All original, straight, and 98 percent rust free. Only surface rust inside box, on underside of floors and one small spot at bottom edge of driver side front fender. In arid land, we only get 10 inches of total moisture per year and sand, not salt, is used on the roads. Original paint is a bit faded but may buff out. A few small dings and scratches typical of a truck this age. Inside box wheel wells are in good condition.Truck is equipped with rare clearance lights and factory side tool box. I don't have the original mirrors. Glass is good, original windshield has a few scratches but no major damage. Grille is in good condition, front bumper is tweaked as shown in pics. Really straight and clean for a truck of this vintage. Interior: Good original condition. Original seat has a few tears under the blanket cover. Glovebox door has a few cracks as shown. Original floor mat in good shape other than a large tear by the transfer case lever. Most everything works as far as I can tell including radio, wipers, heater, etc. Heater switch has been replaced with aftermarket. A/C controls work and blower turns on. Lights all seem to work except for brake lights - haven't looked into it. Mechanical: Starts, runs, and drives out fine. Truck shows 70k miles and that mileage is stated as original on the title, but I can't personally guarantee it. Really seems too tight and nice for odometer to have rolled over. Original 360 was replaced, not sure why, at some point by later 360-4V (and it is indeed a 360) that works well with no noticeable smoke, noises or issues. Oil pressure reads on the low side of the operating range of the gauge, but I think it's the sender or gauge- no bearing rattle and motor is strong. There are a few drips under truck if left overnight, like most vintage 4x4s, but nothing horrible. Tires are winter traction type and have a season left on them. I've only driven the truck about 20 miles, but it seems tight, nice and a solid driver. Pricing/Misc: You are welcome and encouraged to personally inspect the truck prior to bidding.
