I bought this about 2 years ago from a family that rode it around the yard. It was essentially brand new at that time. I have put 2 Dual Sport rides on it and it is still like brand new. Yes, I am a maintenance freak and have owned and maintained bikes for over 40 years. Yes, I am an old guy. I added a nearly brand new all Honda parts XR400 Front Forks and Wheel. New .45 Springs make this bike stand up and ride like it should. I also added a skid plate, FMF Slip On Pipe, Applied Racing top Triple Clamp and Pro Taper handlebars. The bike has now it's second new rear tire including the original. I also put on a new o-ring chain that is in great condition. I washed and cleaned the bike after every ride meticulously. Wiped all down with WD-40. Front and Rear Sprockets are original and as you can see, this is a very LOW HOUR bike. New Rear Fender as I scratched the original against the side of a trailer. All other plastics are original and in good shape. The XR400 Front End improves this bike a ton..Oil always changed and valves are set. This bike is as clean with all the plastics removed. I also have the hard to get european Honda OEM rear fender from the XR250 super moto...it has a more straight out design....it is new in box.
