Vehicle Detail

1957 Ford Fairlane, 1 family owned, 38,300 original miles, 292 V8, auto, clock, radio, 2 dr hardtop. This Ford was painted in 1973, and put in the barn in 1974, the outer rockers only were repaired at that time. The floors are excellent, I found one spot about the size of a half dollar of rust, that's it!. The trunk floor is absolutely perfect, the backs of the quarters, rockers, and underside of the car is beautiful, no rust over the headlights, never was. I have more pictures of the trunk, and floors, its in fantastic condition. The car runs like new, engine purrs, currently running off of a gas bottle, brakes are functional for loading, the Ford goes right into gear. Dash is very nice, one seam came apart on headliner, door panels are nice but faded, everything works, I have every piece of original carpet padding, original spare tire, jack and every attaching part, original correct license plane sliding screws, and rubber for between the bumper and car. Original trunk mat is nice, and all trunk cardboard its very good. The quarter panels and around the rear wheels are in excellent condition, the plugs are still in the backs of the quarter panes, the bottoms of the doors are excellent as well, and the back of the rockers, and all floor braces, original Ford primer on original floors. Have original build sheet, owners manual, keys with Ford fob, and original Ford envelope from Ford plant in New Jersey. Front seat was stored in different shed, and is repairable, the rear bumper was off of the car when I got it, and it has a rust spot in the right side, it was not stored in the barn where the 1957 survived in this condition. Engine runs like new, every nut bolt and wire is almost perfect under hood, the car was originally red and black two tone, the original owner's Son, thought the all black would be cooler in 1973. Please ask any questions you may have this car is the probable the best unrestored 50's Ford for the reserve price I have. The car is stored in Central NJ, and is being Sold AS IS, No Warranty either express or implied. A $1,000 deposit is required within 24 hrs of auction close by winning bidder, please do no bid if you cannot afford to buy, no 0 feedback bids without prior contact, or they will be refused, no negative feedback bids will be honored, if you are the winning bidder, and do not send the deposit, the care will be offered to the next highest bidder.
