Looking it over:This is a great example of a good used 944 S2. I don't mean a trailer queen, but a super car that was cared for over the years, and not really molsted like most of those found today.Exterior:The paint is original and shines fresh and clean. There are very few chips which is probably explained by the low miles, a cared-for survivor. Normally there is sagging at one corner/side suggesting incorrect worn suspension components. Not on this one! It is level and has a proper stance. One welcome addition is the 968 style wing. The wing does have a gap larger on the drivers side, but is solid and still looks good, pulling the looks away from the funky bumpered earlier cars. No orange peel or funky repairs. The paint is very good. What you would expect from an original.Consequently there is no rust.Wheels: bone stock and they still hold a polish, but could use a professional detailing. While the tires look new, they have been on with hardly any miles added since 2011. Under The Hood:The engine is clean. This is not a dealer steam-cleaned engine. It is clean and proper, so no one is trying to hide an oil leak. Pull the dipstick, clean oil. Under-hood Insulation is still good and not peeling or falling down.Belly Pan/Oil Pan:NO dents, oil stains, or evidence of tampering.Oil Leaks: There are none.Timing belt: pulling the inspection cover, this belt does not have dry rot or cracks. It is a PORSCHE brand belt. Images attached.
