Vehicle Detail

1947 Plymouth P15 Coupe, Special Deluxe.. Original and bone dry.... There is not even any scale on the frame. Not a single rust bubble anywhere.. This is essentially a 2 owner car that was brought up to WA. from Cali back in the late 70s, but was put on blocks in a heated garage.. When I found it it still had 1978 stickers on the blk Cali plates, which are included!.. It is 100% complete.. Resprayed original color some 40+ years back, and it still sports it's dealer installed seat covers over the original cloth, which apear to be PERFECT.. Orig headliner, door panels, rubber mats, etc.. I purchased this car from the widow of the second owner.. Prior to the gentleman passing, he systematically went through most everything.. Under the hood every gasket, hose, belt, clamp, etc. is new, as well as the water pump, battery, plugs, wires, radiator, complete fuel system from tank forward, etc.. The widow tells me that ol timer had the motor rebuilt too.. It runs beautifully.. On cold start I don't touch the gas or choke.. Just blip the start button and it fires up and idles perfect.. And the trans has been rebuilt and shifts perfectly.. All of this without it ever being driven.. It was just blocked up in the garage.. He also did the brakes, emergency brake, and bearings.. I just put radials on it and a new exhaust from manifold back.. All on the dryest coolest stock survivor 47 Plymouth around.. Check out the old racing stickers from the late 50s, on the quarter windows.. The radio is pulled out and included. The water temp gauge is out (bulb broken. can fix or find on ebay) .. And the heater blower is not working (intact and in place).. Comes with complete door and window gasket set, not installed.. Extra radiator, water pump, and boxes of parts that the ol timer collected or replaced over the years, hubcaps too.. (I like the ol hot rod stock car feel without them).. All of the bakelite knobs and handles are perfect.. The chrome is excellent, bumpers are straight, as is the grill, headlight rings etc... Lower trim piece on pass side is dented towards the back.. But over all Amazingly clean and straight and original and turn key.. I can not over emphasize how rust free this car is... Look at all of the pictures.. Best color, Chevron Blue.. Regarding the market for these coupes... About 2 months ago here on ebay I watched a decent 47 go through, same color, survivor from Colorado with some rust issues, described as 92% rust free. (Hole in the quarter behind the drivers door, body braces on underside, some floor, and pin holes through the trunk deck and around the trunk), dry rotted old biased tires, basically as found barn car.. It sold for $10,849 .... And another coupe, survivor, got bid up to $18,103 and did not meet reserve.. That guy had a buy it now price of $27,950.00.. And yet another coupe, a 48, was listed 4 weeks ago with a buy it now of $29,500.... That said, these are clearly appreciating nicely, Very nice honest car and just very cool exactly as is.. Part of a 13 car private collection housed in climate controlled space.. there is NO RESERVE, & it's worth at least the buy it now, So please bid to win.. $1000 deposit due within 48 hours via Pay Pal.. Remainder due within 7 days via cashiers check, cash, or bank transfer... Buyer responsible for transport... For Sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction at any time.. THANKS!
