Vehicle Detail

Here u have it, guys. Someone's going to get a nice old Mopar at a good price. If you've been looking for a great driver/project; Don't let this one get away. You're bidding on a one of 1474 Dodge Mirada CMX. Virtually all original, super low production factory automobile. This thing turns heads and gets lots compliments. For those of you who may not know...this is a special low numbers "faux" convertible. If you've been in the market for a unique Mopar ride, look no further. Late 70's and early 80's Mopars are fast becoming sought after cruisers. If you've looked at the prices of the older stuff, you know it's just crazy! Here is the nitty gritty to the best of my knowledge. The pictures tell most of the story. This is a low mileage original car. I'm the second owner. 318 automatic on the floor, power windows (right side not working), power drivers seat, leather seats (in exceptionally nice shape), factory paint in good shape overall (some nicks and minor scratches...33 years old), I believe there is an exhaust leak in the muffler area (should be simple fix), the rear fillers in the "quarter to bumper" area are trash. This car will come with BRAND NEW FILLERS which I have already purchased to the tune of about $270. They will just need to be painted and put on. This car is 33 years old. It will have some small minor dings (Think parking lot rash. Though not much!) I bought this from the original owner. It lived in a garage most all its life. I bought it to "polish" up and drive. I just simply have way too many projects. It will probably be another three years before I can get to it. I would rather let someone else have the fun of doing it, and the enjoyment of driving it. I think this would make a wonderful Father/Son project. Something nice and unusual, but can be done for a reasonable cost. The great thing about this is that you can walk in to any parts store and find almost any mechanical part you might need. I lost the storage I had for this car. That's the #1 reason for letting it go. It has set outside for three weeks or so. has been rained on a few times. That's why it is dirty in the pictures (just FYI). I know if I do ANYTHING to this car, I'm going to remember just how nice and solid it is...then I'll have to keep it! The only real "issue" with the body on this car is a few bubbles on the lower right rear quarter (minor...see pic). I've described all that I now to the best of my knowledge about this car. I purchased it about 15 months ago, and have since driven it 44 miles. I've noticed no issues with it other than those that I have already disclosed. It is, however, a 33 year old used car and is sold "as-is...where-is". For sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time, for any reason. Just think...give it a good "going-over" (brakes, belts, fluids, hoses), maybe a fresh coat of paint with the new fillers installed, nice wheels and tires; And you're cruising in style! I think the current tires are all in good shape, but I have no idea how old they are. For obvious reasons, I highly recommend a trailer for transport until you can go over it and be sure it meets your standards for safety. I've had no issues and don't expect there should be any; but I only have 44 miles on it. If it doesn't sell with this auction, I'm not sure I'll relist it. I really do like this car. with less than 1500 made 33 years ago...I can only imagine how many are left today! A $500.00 non-refundable deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of auctions end is necessary. Balance due within 72 hours of auctions end. ANY checks, including cashier's or personal, must clear before title is done or car leaves my possession. SORRY, but that's the world we live in today. Cash in person is simple and easy... I will be happy to hold the car for pick up for up to 15 days; 20 days max! Happy-Bidding, and Good Luck!
