Hello, I'm selling my 1954 3100 pickup truck. The previous owner (who had it from 1991) told me it's still got it's original 235 engine. It has a manual 3-speed transmission. The engine runs and I have checked the clutch the truck will move under it's own power however the brakes need gone through. Supposedly the motor was "gone through" and has new bearings, rings, gaskets, etc. I can't confirm that since I never got any receipts but you can see newer gaskets/RTV on the motor. It's got a 10-bolt rearend and custom cut driveshaft. As far as the body, it needs a passenger cab corner and the driver's is about ready as well. Some small holes on the bottom inside of the drivers door (see pics). There's a decent sized dent on the top of the passenger side rear fender. Otherwise there are some portions where you can see some light filler from the older paint job, but this is a really solid truck. NO rust holes anywhere in the floorboards, outer door skins, roof, drip rails, or front or rear fenders. The wood in the bed had been replaced by a sheet of metal. Good clear and open title. On Jun-24-15 at 20:26:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello again, I just wanted to say that the transmission is actually a 4-speed not a 3-speed. The shifter lever has some play in it so I never realized it had that extra gear until I was (carefully!) putting around the block in it. To clarify about the engine, it fires right up every time as soon as you press the foot starter. It idles great and sounds really good- no knocks or other bad noises. The transmission shifts smoothly and goes into every gear without any grinding. The factory gauges (temp, oil pressure, and voltage) all work except the fuel gauge, which has a separate gauge mounted below the dash that does work. The switch for the headlights/taillights went out they did work not too long ago, but the brake lights still do work. Let me know if you need any more details about anything I'm forgetting.
